Noel Hayward

Noel Hayward partnered with Ken Schley and John Briuolo in 1982 to grow a small-town grocery store in Qualicum Beach, B.C., into Quality Foods, with 13 stores spanning most of Vancouver Island. He retired as a partner in 2009 but returned to lead the company as president when Schley and Briuolo sold the business to the Jim Pattison Group in 2017. He now works alongside Schley’s son Justin, vice president, to lead the business into the future. He is the recipient of a Life Member award from the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers.
