John F.T. Scott

John F.T. Scott was president and CEO of the Canadian Federation of Independent Grocers (CFIG) from 1991 to 2013. Most recently, he is past chair at Niagara College. He has distinguished himself as an economist, consultant and speaker specializing in the food distribution and retail sector. He is a recipient of both of the retail food industry’s highest awards—the 2009 Golden Pencil and the Spirit of the Independent (Inspiration to Independent Retailers).
